My crested gecko has one leg it favors and it doesn't seem to be swollen, but he wont walk on it, but when he does walk on it, the toes curl under a little. He also seems to be a little slow and has slightly labored movements. I thought it was from a lack of calcium but i cant get him to eat anything other then meal worms this past week. what should i do? thanks
Dont FORCE him too just dab alittle on his nose he should lick it off. Force feeding is very risky as you can break there jaws and not to mention it stresses them out BAD. CGD is a good source of everything he needs so be sure to get him eating that over bugs.
Do you feed him the Crested Gecko Diet? If not I would suggest starting too.
Just take some of the crested gecko diet and force him to eat it by putting some on his nose lighty then he'll lick it off especially if you cover his little nostrils. And when he starts to lick it off And maybe mix in some extra calcium if he's been lacking it. I would suggest taking him to the vet for his leg because i'm not too sure what it could be.
put it over his nostrils and he'll lick it i had a similar problem and i had to do it for a month but i would bring him to a vet
