is 10gallon enough for adult leo gecko?

Some people think it is some don't. I'm one of the people who doesn't think 10 gallon is enough for a single adult leopard gecko. I recommend a 10 gallon tank for babies but a 20 for an adult.
leo's like floor space and they do like to climb even though the shouldnt for their own safety as they are quite clumsy creatures id recommend a 20 gallon long personally just to give it that option of moving around alot if it wants to plus in a 10 gallon tank it would be pretty hard to keep a warm and cool side so i wouldnt recommend it:)
think about it this way. a adult leo gets to be 9-10 inchs with proper care now a day. A 10 gallon is only 20 inchs long. Can you imagine living in a space that small? I agree only house a baby in them. 20 Long is best. My one male became depressed and stopped eating when in a 10 gallon for a month. Once back in his 20 he started chowing down just fine. Plus a 10 its impossible to get a good hot and cold side and you cant get the 3 hides they need in a 10 WITH enough room to hunt. Im shocked the person who had 3 in one. theres no way they can be healthy.
It will be kind of cramped for an adult leo. You can build a second layer to give him more room or just invest in a 20 gal long. My male is large and he is in a 20 ... I couldn't imagine putting him in anything smaller. The more room reptiles have, the healthier they will be. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

that should be fine. i had three leopard geckos but one died from cancer and until she got sick i had all three full grown geckos in 1 10 gallon tank and they did fine. It is recommended if you have more than one to separate them because they can fight but i have never had a problem so its up to you.
