ball python snake shedding?

my roomate got a ball python from a person that didnt take care of it. the snake has been shedding for two months prior to geting the snake. she has been misting the cage and every time the snake gets the skin off it still looks the same . also the snake is under weight so the skin looks kind of like big wrinkes
It sounds to me like dehydration. If you are having to mist daily, then I am assuming your ball python is not being kept in an enclosure which was made specifically for ball pythons. So, my best advise would be to invest in the proper enclosure. If that isn't an option, then make sure to keep the tank humid, and provide lots of fresh water.
She needs correct temps and humidity to shed properly. She sounds dehydrated. I'd give her a warm water soak to help with shedding and to hydrate her.

This care site is excellent: http://www.kingsnake.com/ballpythonguide ...
ur roonmate needs to make sure that the temps are right an if the snake is having troubly sheding let is sit in the bathtub witha little bit of warm water and let it stay in there for 10-15min and it should come off in about a day or two
