Ball Python or Boa Constrictor? ...
Pros and Cons for both please?
The ball pythons really have some beautiful color variations but I am not a huge fan of them. The really pretty ones don't seem to be good eaters. They are a bit picky. If you plan on feeding live food they usually do fine though. There are some really beautiful boas out there too and I haven't heard of any major problems with them. It really all comes down to personal preferences. I like some of the corn snakes because I like the color patterns and that they don't get too huge but that is just me.
Ball pythons because my biology teacher has a boa and I have a ball python and the boa seems to be very dull and boring. Plus the coloration of a ball python is way more beautiful and they look cooler in so many ways.
better for what purpose?
Both are beautiful, fairly easy to keep and docile species.
Royals (balls) have a habit of going off their food however, and boas grow MUCH larger.
There very similar snakes ... a ball python will only grow to about 5 feet ... but depending on what kind of boa u get it cud grow to 10 or even 12 feet
Ball Python is beautiful!!
