URGENT NEED ANSWER NOW BALL PYTHON IN MIDDLE OF FEEDING?

PLEASE HELP ME RIGHT NOW. AS I WAS FEEDING A PINKY TO MY BALL PYTHON THE PAPER TOWEL THAT SHE WAS SITTING ON GOT BIT ALONG WITH THE MOUSE. SHES NOT LETTING GO!
A small piece of paper towel or substrate won't hurt a snake. They have incredibly strong stomach acids. Also, a pinky mouse is way too small for a ball python. I breed them and start hatchlings out on hopper mice and fuzzy rats. Pinky mice are for smaller snakes such as baby corn snakes .
I know I'm late, but hey, better late than never, right .... Anyhow, I'm sure he'll be fine. Think about it, if he can ingest/digest a pinky with fuzz , bones, skin, etc., I'm confidant that a piece of paper towel shouldn't hurt him at all. Paper towels are natural, without any chemicals that should harm your ball. He'll probably either pass it with the fuzz & whatever else from the pinky, or pass it out the other end :-)

Hope your mind is a bit more eased now that he didn't get too much after all.
Your ball python will be fine. A small amount of paper towel won't hurt your ball python. When we feed our snakes we usually do so on a glass surface. This allows us to clean up when they are done. I would recommend you also feed on a non-porus surface so that you can clean up after. Sometimes the food will ooze a lot, and it can be a real mess.
stop relying on yahoo and get a ball python book, a couple of them
