I just bought a new hatchling leopard gecko.
I understand it is normal for a new gecko to not eat for the first few days in most cases but mine only goes to his two hides and wont come out at all. Is this pretty normal? At what point should i be worried about him not coming out or eating?
Pretty normal. Most Leopard Geckos are nocturnal as well, so the day time is spent sleeping. If the temperature is too low or humidity too low, they may also retreat to the hides where it is warmer and moister. You should start getting concerned when you don't see any action for 2 weeks.
