My baby leopard gecko is not eating, and will hardly respond

My roommate and I got her at Petco about 2 1/2 weeks ago, and since then she has only eaten baby food and two crickets. The second cricket she ate obstructed her bowel, and it made a cut in her side by her back leg . We have tried feeding her baby food off of our fingers, but that isn't enough to sustain her. She is practically unresponsive ... What should we do???
Have you thought about going to a vet? Your geckos needs professional attention now. Also stop feeding the baby food. It should be eatting crickets. Most baby food has ally of sugar in it.

What are the tank temperatures? Substrate? Humidity level? Tank size? All of these can cause problems If they are wrong. Temps should be 88-90F on the warm side and 75-80f on the cooler. Wrong substrate can cause illness and death . Loose substrates can cause an impaction while a humidity producing substrate can cause things like respitory problems. The humidity level should be very low as they are desert reptiles.
the cricket cut it from the inside!!?? too big of a cricket or it did not die when it was eaten and tried to eat it's way out of the gecko (yes this really can happen!). baby food is not for geckos like this. you need a vet NOW. sorry to say but it will probably die. Petco sells sick and inbred animals for profit. they don't care about the animals they sell. they only want your money. plus you need to read more about the animals you keep! you have to know how to keep it alive . it should be eating every other day. good luck.
What size crickets are you feeding her? They cannot be any larger than the space between her eyes. If she is really small, you should get pinhead crickets. Put a couple of crickets in her tank and leaver her alone for a while. She may not eat if you are watching her, but don't leave them in all night. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

However, if you have already done all that, and she is really unresponsive, then it's time for a trip to the vet.
Return it to the wild.
Hi mate, First of all you want that cut clean ( If it's on the outside read what im about to say, If its inside her skip on), You should get a reptile disinfectant to clean the cut to stop it getting infected this may solve half of your problem, Once a cricket nibbled away at the toe of my leopard gecko I use''Repti wound-healing aid''And the skin that was lost literally replaced itself in a matter of a few days, You say she isnt eating this may be because her stomach might be blocked up with something , Put her in some luke warm water and gently massage her belly this should be a pleasureable experience for your gecko not some mad rush to get whatever is in there out, Once you have done this maybe you'll get a little suprise floating around in the water, After that try feeding your gecko some crickets as you have gotten her 2 and a half weeks ago she is most likely settled in so let's take that out of the way, By the way the crickets should be no bigger than the space between their eyes, But I always use the rule of MY thumb and use anything that can fit in my geckos mouth with a little bit of space left in the mouth, If she doesn't eat these then try a meal worm crush the head and hold it by the tail with a little bit of pressure so it twirls this should get the geckos attention, My gecko is very picky on what he eats one week he'll eat crickets the next he decides he wants locusts or meal worms, If this fails give her some wax worms only a few though so she doesn't take too much of a liking to them and becomes addicted to them, If all of this fails then a trip to the vet may be in order, Feel free to e-mail me if you need more advice/Information Ill be happy to help: Jackcole5@live.co.uk
