Is it ok if my bearded dragons humidity is high for a day?

i just put in my beardies new substrate but it was a little damp so the humidity will be high until it dries can he die from this will it make him sick? it should dry in a couple of hours
i have leopard geckos and i have never done anything with humidity and iv had them for 3 years and my school had them for a year before i took them in and nothing was done in regards to humidity, i would think that they should be fine but if they stat acting weird like not eating or something like that you should take them to the vets just in case.
What kind of substrate? You should never use anything that can be eaten, such as any kind of sand or bark or chips. Impaction is common and serious. Beardies should never be put on damp substrate ... it can cause upper respiratory infection. Use tile, slate, non-adhesive shelf liner, reptile carpet, newspaper or paper towels for substrate.
