My leopard gecko does nothing but sit in the corner on her warm bed of moss all day long. That is literally the only thing she does. She is eating just fine and is very active at night, but I am worried that I am going to bore her to death lol. She is just over 8yrs old and I just wanna keep her happy! Any fun ideas are welcome, just don't be stupid:) Thanks!
Leopard Geckos are more active at night naturally. It isn 't weird for her to just want to sit around during the day on her rock. Its part of her routine. I wouldn't suggest introducing a mate to her at this point. That could cause undue stress by introducing another gecko into her environment . May I ask what you feed her? If you want to you can spend some more time with her but like I said she is just exhibiting normal behavior. You won't bore her to death.
Reptiles dont need tonnes of mental stimulation like mammals and birds.
They are perfectly happy to just sit and watch the world go by - as long as she is healthy, eating, pooping, shedding and otherwise behaving normally then i honestly wouldn't worry about it:)
pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com Throwing a few logs or fake plants in there or even rearranging her tank setup could get her up and exploring for a bit if you like
Hold her more often than usual, and try and see if you can find a mate for her
