I bought a Mississippi map turtle and i feed it and it wont eat Is it normal because it hasn't adapt to its new habitat??
What temperature is your water and basking area? It is important, especially this time of year , to have a heat source to make your enclosure the proper temperature or the reptile may go into a semi-hibernative state. This is bad because the animal is still burning calories yet not warm enough to eat or digest food to take in new calories. It could die if this is the case
No problem! I suggest going to a local pet store and describing your tank setup. They'll be able to tell you what size bulb to use

How long have you had it? It can take a while for your turtle to calm down enough to eat, just leave his food in his cage and let him get to it in his own time.
its not hungry. turtles are like that, they will only eat if they are hungry, just leave it, it will be gone:)
turtle only eat when hungry. but you might try some tomatoes or lettuce or a cricket.
