i was just wondering if bearded dragons teeth are really strong just like any other teeth and i was wondering if my beardies teeth are completely fine because ive been feeding him repti pebbles straight from the container dry without moistoning them first and i was just wondering if that would cause any damage to his teeth or are his teeth completely fine and strong and i have nothing to worry about?? thanks
The pellets won't damage your Beardie's teeth at all. I've been bitten by my Beardie a couple of times, so I can vouch for the fact that their teeth are completely fine and strong!
The pellets may contain all of a Beardie's nutritional needs, but he'll quickly get bored of them. Keep your Beardie's diet varied - pellets, fresh greens, and crickets.
Mine ate those when he was a juvenile. Its fine, you can hear them crunching but mine never had problems with his teeth or jaws. make sure youre still feeding it veggies and crickets. some of those formulas say they can be meal replacements but the crickets themselves are better for the lizard.
