what do i do if my baby ball python does not eat?

my baby ball python (carl) is refuseing his fuzzy mouse.
How long have you had your Ball Python? If you just got him/her, you should let the baby settle in for a week or so without disturbing it.

It is also not uncommon for Ball Pythons to refuse feed under the best of circumstances. Missing a feeding is not going to harm your snake. Just be patient and try again at the next scheduled feeding. You only need to be worried if this continues to happen and the snake appears to be losing weight. Then a vet check is in order.
well, how old is your baby ball python? Many ball pythons have problems with frozen mice, and others have problems with live mice. Often ball pythons will not eat for a while, which is completely normal. Continue offering him mice once a week. Do not be worried as long as he doesn't begin losing weight.
this is a common trait of ball pythons they are fussy eaters and can become unwell if they don't eat for a long time baby ball pythons need to eat more for growth. when i first got mine it did not eat the first time i tried and so the next time i switched of the lights as in the wild the mainly feed at night. try this and it might help and also try and make sure you offer the food at the same time each time you try and it will see a pattern. if nothing works and you are really worried see a vet. hope this has helped!
I'm guessing you got him recently and he doesn't feel secure in his tank. The most common reason for a ball python to refuse food is that they do not feel secure in their enclosure . You need to have two hides that are pretty sung. Then you should really fill in the extra space in the enclosure with fake plants or crumpled newspaper. When I bring home babies/have them shipped to me I also fill their tub with newspaper and even put some in their hide so they are nice and secure. I don't even bother waiting to see if they eat without doing that first, because most likely they won't. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com
