Dont both with a leopard gecko. This isnt enough for them. A leo gets to be 9-10 inchs now a day and a 10 only 20in long. Can you imagine living in a tiny cage thats half your length? Anoles COULD live in there but it'd be small and you'd only be able to have one if that. Maybe consider Dwarg geckos. they are fairly small. Maybe consider some frogs or toads.
there is NO way you can house a crested in there. Cresteds need atleast 2 foot high tanks.
A leopard gecko would be okay in a ten gal but would do best in something larger. I had my first leopard gecko in a 10 gal for 2 1/2 years and she was fine, I then upgraded her to a 20 gal because I thought she would be happier and she was. Leopard geckos are great pets and I couldn't live with out mine, they are great for new reptile owners and take a lot less work then some other lizards. I believe a Crested Gecko would be fine a 10 gal as well, though I think they like a more up and down tank because they climb, unlike the Leopard gecko who needs more floor space. Both are great pet choices but make sure you do your research. And if you get a Leopard gecko I suggest you don't get one from Petco as I've heard some terrible horror stories. Also make sure to never use Sand as a substrate no matter what the pet stores tell you Leo's will get impacted (intense constipation) from ingesting it and that will lead to death if not treated.
