i got a leopard gecko and it is about 2 months old and it already shed 3 times is that normal?
Yes, he is growing rapidly and will be shedding more often. It is a sign of good health that he is shedding frequently .
baby as in how many inchs? the smaller the more they shed. 2 months with 3 sheds is kinda a few but not unusual. Just be sure your feeding it enough and he'll keep on growin. A shedding animal is a healthy animal; D
It's a monthly cycle form what I can tell with my bearded dragon. Shedding is part of the growing process and cleaning process. I'd say the more a reptile sheds the better. Reptiles generally shed once after they hatch and then as they grow. So 3 seems just fine. If I'm wrong someone will chime in.
