My Red Eared Slider has been making weird sqeeking/whistling noises. She does it in the water and SOMETIMES when she breathes it makes the noise. She was in an outdoor pond but I transferred her indoors to her heated aquarium. I live in so cal so it doent snow or anything. Do you think it is a respratory infection, or is this normal? I am SO scared because I love her lke my child and my whole family loves her! I'm REALLY scared and I need your help! Please and thank you!='/
Yes, this can be a respiratory infection. Locate an experienced reptile vet and have her checked out asap. That is not normal.
