How can I find my lost snake fast?

My 1 year old California King snake was last put up by my dad I heard loud noises coming from his tank last night but didnt think twice about it because this is common. The next day we looked in his terrarium and he wasnt there! I need to find him fast, because of my dog any advice?

Help would be greatly appreciated!
You should buy a snake whistle. Whenever I want my snake to come to me I just give it a blow and she comes running, tail wagging and tongue out.
I have many snakes escape on me. king snakes are very strong and can push the cage lids open easily if not locked. if you have a heating pad just set it in a corner on the floor. in the mornings check all around it. snaked need warmth and this should work. whatever you do don't let a mouse go in your house. this could take up to a month to find it but just keep checking under and around things. remember they can wedge themselves into just about anything. good luck and as soon as you find give it water.
I have a snake myself. I suggest after you find him, getting a lock for the lid. Anyways, all reptiles are cold blooded, and need a source of heat. Find dark places that put off heat. under an oven, near a washing machine or dryer, and even under a fridge. Snakes often like to hide in couches. As most snakes are nocturnal, look at night.
get a mouse and set him free then go in the opposite direction that he runs
