I am going to get a corn snake, but if I buy two can they live together?
Because the store has them all in the same tank, and if I bought 2 at the same time, could they live in the same tank? I don't want little cannibals though ^ - ^ (x
It is indeed possible but as said above can be very dangerous.
I would not advise introducing 2 adult corn snakes as in all likelihood you'll end up with 1 or 2 dead corn snakes. If you really want to house 2 together then they will have to have been housed together for all or the majority of their lives.
This SHOULD reduce territory conflicts but corn snakes housed together need to be watched like hawks when being fed. I've seen instances where 2 snakes have gone after the same mouse and one nearly ended up inside the other (luckily we managed to get them apart ).
Precautions can be taken to avoid this but they don't always work!
Feed the snakes at exactly the same time (down to seconds) at opposite corners of the tank. They should then both be preoccupied with their own meals and not each others.

Obviously another major issue of housing 2 snakes together is the possibility of baby snakes. Corn snakes can lay clutches of up to 20 so you may end up with more than you bargained for!
:)
I don't think it's generally recommended. It depends on if you have two males, two females, or one of each - some combos (I forget which) work better than others but typically it's just not a good idea . Never go by what you see in the store.
It can be dnagerous espicaly around feeding times. It is best to house them seperatly.
Also please try to adopt from a rescue. They are getting so full and need homes.
