Me and my friend found a baby gopher snake but it has a big cut on its belly
we want to nurse it to health but we dont know what to feed it
should we bandage it or let nature heal it? How do u sex a Gopher Snake
Are you sure it's a cut and not the vent, where the snake goes to the bathroom? Babies often open it when they efel threatened. This wouldn 't be the first time where I've seen somebody here on Yahoo mistake it for a cut.
you cant really bandage it, put some neosporen on the cut, and keep the snake dry, i wouldnt bother trying to feed it right now either, its wounded and has been captured so the damn thing is probably in shock ... give it a while for the wound to heal and in a week or so if its still alive let it go or feed it a pinky mouse.
