None of them are really "active" per se; they're often referred to as Pet Holes. They're all nocturnal and usually hide during the day. Desert species (androctonus spp.) Are slightly more active than forest species, but not by much.
I think all scorpions are nocturnal but the desert yellows I think are the most active.
