hi, i just recentally purchased a 3 month (ish) old water dragon, i dont really know if this is strange behavior but he scratches at the cage wall alot, ive heard that if he sees the reflection in the glass he will think there is another lizzard and will try to get him so i put cardboard on the other sides but he still continues to scratch and flip out at the front side. also ive noticed that he is missing some skin out of the front of his nose,, he was like this when i purchased him but i never noticed it, why is that and is there anything i should do?
it would help if you told us eastern or chinese? and they rub there snout on the glass and eventually it will fall of due to the tank size being to small and it wanting more room to run around. how big is the tank and how big is he?
i dont know if its eastern or chinese but his tank is prob 15-20 gal i think ... and i am getting him a much larger tank, she is pretty small prob a foot (maybe) from nose to tail

Apparently water dragons have a bad habit of rubbing their noses against the glass.
