ok i have i have 2 3 month old bd's in a 40 gal breeder tank i have a source of uvb but do i need to buy another fixture for heat or do I just need a bulb or both
hey, yeah you need to have a second bulb for heat, you want one end to be around 95-100 degrees, some might say hotter, to each is own IMO, and one end around 75-80. I guess you could buy a heat emitter but I don ' t think they are necessary.
yes youll need a heat bulb since they need a basking spot
