Right now I have a 30 gal. Tank (30 "l 12" w 19 "h). The beardie is only a baby so i figured it would be a good size for him untill hes a bigger (I'll be getting him a 40 gal breeder tank.) I have a 150 WATT UVB bulb, 2 sticks for him to bask on, a food bowl, and a water dish. I change his water every other day. I have a bowl of kale in there at all times . the warm side of his tank says around 90-95 all the time, and the other side stays around 80. He spends pretty much all his time basking unless hes trying to get out. I feed him about 6-10 small crickets a day . Can someone tell me if theres anything wrong with how im taking care of him or his rank conditions?
your temps sound right. i have been keeping and breeding beardies for about fifteen years and have witnessed a beardie drinking from a water bowl twice in those fifteen years. the best way to insure your animal drinks is to lightly mist him. purchase a spray bottle and fill it with slightly warm water. (baby bath warm) slowly spray your dragon, he will spread his body and lower his head, as the water runs down his body and forms droplets on his nose he will drink the droplets from his nose. you should be soaking him at least twice a week, once again in baby bath warm water. let me suggest you switch his diet to a pelleted food such as rep-cal bearded dragon food. you can buy both juvenile and adult formula's. feeding live 9even greens) can and does cause intestinal parasites that can and sometimes does kill your pet. have a fecal floatation done by an exotics vet. they will know how to successfully rid your animal of worms. if you change to rep-cal it may take a little time for your dragon to accept the change but he will eat the rep-cal. this food is specially formulated for maximum nutrition. I have never had any worm problems after starting my dragons on this food. uv lighting is usually a florescent type light. you can also purchase a bulb called repti-sun that is a great source of uva and uvb hope this helps, good luck with your new dragon

You seem to be doing really well i cant fult you but you should really think about changing his water more often once to twice a day
HAVE FUN WITH YOUR NEW PET
i am afraid you are confusing your heat light with a uv light. I have never heard of a 150 watt uvb. Usually they are like 50 micro watts. Make sure you actually do have a uv light for your dragon. (you will need 2 lights total, heat and uvb).
other than that it all looks great
edit: the uv lights cost anywhere from about 19-40 dollars. make sure you get the 10.0 for the beardie. you need to replace them every 5-6 months. if your dragon does not have this he WILL develop metabolic bone disease.
