Are there snakes in Hawaii?

The state of Hawaii is home to only 1 native species of snake, the Yellow-bellied Sea Snake and only 20 have ever been documented. The other species that is found in Hawaii is the Island Blind Snake which was introduced in the 1980's. It is tiny and often mistaken for a worm. Hawaii is battling against an invasion by the Brown Tree Snake.
There are snakes everywhere in the world, wether they are native to that area or they are not.

Hope this helps
