you should wait 24 hours before you handle them
i handle my corn snake right after i feed him to get him out of his feeding cage and sometimes just to hold him and play with him but he is also about 2 or 3 years old. you might want to wait for a while to play with him right after feeding so he can get used to it but i would say if he wants to be held i think its fine to get him out. i would think he would know best about himself:) and i was just wondering what you named him? i used to have 2 . king kong and godzilla but godzilla ate king kong so now i call him killa kong:)
You could probably handle him like a day after you feed him. And just a tip, you should never feed him in his cage. You should have a container that you put him in with the mouse. Because then, he will start to think that everytime you stick your hand in the cage that it's food or something and he will start to bite. Sounds dumb, but it happened to my snake.
It is recommended you wait 48 hours after feeding to handle. Doing so earlier may cause regurgitation, and this can be serious.

It's best to leave it 2 - 3 days to give them a chance to digest, really. Seeing as they digest pretty much everything it takes longer than a human or a mammal.
Are you feeding him on a Seperate enclosure or on the same enclosure he is always in?
(I recommend like a Rubbermaid Tub for his eating)
24-48 hours after
