My redtail boa keeps opening and closing its mouth is anything wrong with him?
my redtail wont eat and its 3 days past his feeding he keeps opening and closeing its mouth repeatedly i have put a rat in his cage i have even held the rat he wont eat. just opens and closes his mouth over and over through out the day. help
Are you sure he's not getting ready to shed? They'll yawn a lot right before shedding, and many snakes won't eat while in shed.

when i open and close my mouth its cause im either hungry or im yawning, since it wont eat im going to assume that its just really tired.
