answer: first find a more local pet store, not a chain to buy crickets from they are usually cheaper, 5 cents each, or order online, to get a bulk deal.
the number tossed around is 50-60 crickets per day, so your looking at between 350-400 crickets per week roughly.
DO NOT LEAVE CRICKETS IN THE CAGE WITH BEARDIE FOR MORE THEN 15 Min!
If you leave the crickets in there they will bite your beardie and cause an infection to the wound made by the cricket!

they will eat as many as you want to give them! dump 10 in and see what happens
never put too many in though. if you have too many left over crickets in a tank the crickets can actually start gnawing on your beardie. i've actually seen this kill them before.
don't forget to give him his veggies! romaine and kale are best
