Can I keep an alligator with a snapping turtle?
My dad really wants to get a baby alligator and he wants to keep it in the cage with the common snapping turtle and musk turtle, but it's not the musk turtle I'm worried about, it's the snapping turtle. Will he bite the alligator's feet or will they get along OK?
Also, my dad has to leave every 2 weeks for work and he's gone for 2 weeks and my mom and dad live seperately so nobody is up there for a while. We only go up there every week when he's gone. Will the alligator be able to survive being fed only once a week while Dad's gone?
I know how big alligators get we have done a lot of research on alligators so don't lecture me on how much responsibility it takes.
Thank you

You say you have done research on Alligators, if that was the case you would know what to do and one of them is they are not to be kept as pets and the other it would eat the snapping turtle, which i can't believe you have as a pet, i am sure if the authorities knew you would be in trouble
DO NOT keep an alligator in a cage! thats just cruel! You want an alligator? Buy a large 10 acre property and make a huge pond with a fence around it. Feed it chicken thighs with the bone(raw of course) every day. Not to mention the license you need to get one( in some states its pretty costy). The snapping turtle with eat a baby alligator if they are in the same cage. Cant afford it? DON'T GE AN ALLIGATOR!!
The turtles might bite the alligator or the alligator might bite the turtles. Once a week feeding is no problem but mixing those animals certainly is.
you say you did research ? pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com
i think you missed the part about how big they grow and how much care they need
why would you want an animal you only see 1 time a week ? and it need attention every day of the week , you would be able to house it either and you say keep it in the same "cage" as the turtles ? a cage for an alligator ? that is the stupidest idea ever
and a snapping turtle and alligator would be the stupidest idea yet they both would snap at each other and the gator would be bitten and torn apart when small and then the alligator would get big and get the snapper ...and a musk turtle wouldnt go with the snapper or the alligator ...
your an idiot , please do some research
