red tail boa cage question?

Red tail boa cage question?
can i keep a baby red tail boa in a 10 gallon for about a year
yes you can as long as it has light bulb and dirt a tree sticks you can keep it there for more than a year depending on its size
yeah but not longer
No! In a year your snake will need a 40 gallon breeder. Any one who tells you otherwise obviously doesn't have a red tail. My three year old female is in a 100 gallon breeder and is 7 feet long. She already needs a new cage. These snakes need extremely large cages!
A good starter tank for a hatchling is a 20 gallon tank so what do you think? Go to this site, it will help you a LOT http://www.anapsid.org/boa.html big snakes require a lot of room, you might even want to consider building a custom cage for it just so it can have room to grow and it would be less expensive and you can decorate it however you want.
