Let him go outside, it's the best thing you can do for him.
I agree, let him go now. If you don't have a warming rock and other necessities for lizards, you are going to watch the baby die. The rock is so they digest. I like to watch little animals I might find for a day or two, then off to its happy life where it should be, not in a cage. If you want a lizard, go to the pet store, and research what you need, then buy one that has been bred in captivity.
You found a gekko. You must reside in the desert southwest. Some people keep them indoors as pets to catch scorpions (unless you own cats which then in turn would eat the gekko)
It may not be a baby lizard. It's the species and I think perhaps you should let it go free back into the desert. They DO eat crickets and fruit. Maybe this gekko is sickly or needs an outdoor home.

lived in the desert.
I would feed him live bugs but if he still doesn't eat then let him go.He will have to learn how to get food himself. He needs to be in the wild where he should be. Its nice of you to help it but it needs to be in its natural home. Hope this helps you !!!
Best way is let him go, come from wild belong to wild, or they refuse to eat.
you put him OUTSIDE to HIS HOME were HE EATS
