Is it normal for a turtle to shed?
My turtle is shedding on his neck, legs, and tail. hes very small. almost an inch and a half wide and you can see it shedding off him. is it normal??

yes it is normal, just like every other reptile when it grows it will shed turtles don 't shed as often but they still do.

Yeah, it is very normal for turtles to shed their skin. Don't worry. As long it is small amount!
Some small amount of visible shedding is not alarming, but any skin shedding that is prolonged or extensive is not really normal. Many owners overfeed their turtles and overheat their enclosures, both of which can lead to shedding. Since the problem is common, many keepers mistakenly think that it is fine. Excessive shedding is not usually a serious problem, but still should not be considered "normal
