Right now i have him in a beach like 10 gallon tank its sans then it goes to a little water in t'he sans there is grass and rocks, is this a fine place tio keep him in or is there some thing better that you recomend? Thanks
answer: what you have sounds great! keeping him for a couple weeks or whatever won't harm him. even if it does who cares frogs have tons of babies. :D good luck
just let it go
an aquarium is the best thing to go with. sounds like u already have that covered! :) good luck!
Why don't you just drive to a local forest or park and drop the toad off? He doesn't need your assistance at all. Frogs and toads do not need parental support of any kind.
water, grass, and rocks are the best things for toads especially in a big tank but you will need to supply flies and insects for food and you should probably get a mesh lid. i am a kid but that's what i've used before.
By "raising him a little," you are essentially sentencing him to death. He will become imprinted on you and will become dependent on human care to survive. Newborn wildlife learn most of their survival skills at a very young age. By keeping him in a small area and providing food for him, you are depriving him of those very important experiences that would teach him survival in the wild, such as finding and catching food in large areas, finding secure shelter, escaping predators, and so on. You asked what the best place to keep him was. The answer is OUTSIDE. I realize your intentions are good, and you only want to help this creature. But please listen when I say that the kindest thing you can do is release him as soon as possible. I hope you will do the right thing. Good luck to you, toad.
