I have a 2 baby bearded dragon and there colors are darker?
When I bought my 2 baby bearded dragons they were a bright color like they should be but then when I got home to there new tank with bark tree bedding and thick fake tree branch it started changing it's color to a very dark color and the light I have is always on 95degrees and it's in a 10gallon tank so if u can help me out please do I was watching some YouTube videos amd I think that if I get rid of the bark tree bedding and use white newspaper that the color on them will brighten up I know it's not a chameleon but they can change to there surroundings and temperature so please help :)
The first and foremost problem here is that they are housed together. Dragons live in solitude in the wild, only coming together to mate. They see another dragon in their enclosure as an intruder and this causes a lot of stress. Stress can cause a reptile's health to decline rapidly. A common sign of dominance that will cause stress is basking and sleeping on top of each other. Classic signs of stress include not eating, sleeping a lot, and finally, one will grow while the other remains small. Eventually, they will fight, resulting in a severely injured dragon or a dead dragon. It may not happen this week, or this month, or this year, but it WILL happen. Check your husbandry and separate them and I can promise you will see an improvement in their health and attitude and they will both thrive and be happy.

Stress can also cause dark colors, so that is your #1 culprit right there.
Another problem is that a 10g tank is hardly big enough for 1, much less 2. The problem with a 10g is that it is impossible to get a proper temp gradient. You say your basking is 95. How do you measure the temps? The only accurate way is with a temp gun or a digital thermometer with a probe directly on the basking spot. This temp should be 100-110 (even up to 115 for a baby) (37.7-43.3C) provided with a bright white basking bulb, which can be just a normal household bulb and the cool side should be around 80 (25.5-27.7C). Temps are essential to digestion, so if your temps are not hot enough, he could be at risk of impaction and other digestive issues. A 10g is just too small to have a temp of 110 on one side and down to 80 on the other.
The next problem is the bark. It is an impaction risk, so stick only with solid substrates for your babies: paper towels, non-adhesive shelf liner, repticarpet or tiles.
Pets Questions and AnswersPets Questions and Answers UVB can also affect their colors and is essential for their health. What kind of UVB do you use? Unfortunately, most UVB bulbs on the market are not good quality and can cause health problems in dragons. All compact coil bulbs are dangerous, and the only recommended linear fluorescent bulb is the ReptiSUN 10.0 (not ReptiGLO) in the US or the Arcadia 12% in the UK (
http://www.uvguide.co.uk)I would not look at YouTube for the proper way to care for a dragon. Some people may have it right, but most don't (believe me, I have looked at dozens, if not hundreds of YT videos and the care presented is rarely optimal for a dragon).
Instead, go to a website/forum completely dedicated to dragons, like

Best of luck to you and your new babies!
Are they both girls? And they change dark and even black when they bask which means they love it. I have 2 girl bearded dragons that are inseparable and one of them is dull and gray and turns even duller while she is basking and she turns even darker than how she usually is while my other is a beautiful orange yellow color and she turns black with orange rings on her markings and back while she is in the sun or basking. Also bark is no good as bedding and DO NOT USE CALCIUM SAND I use crushed walnut shells as there bedding and when you get them a bigger tank (preferably 80 gallons for 2) you can use tile. My 2 are in a ten gallon tank also and they are fine while construction is going on there new tank and there both 7 inches. Also paper towels can be used too.
