there not. the only thign they have over dogs is they are better for a lazy person who doe snot want to potty and play with it everyday.

It really depends on your choice, they are neither better or worse.

They're are perfect if you live a busy life and don't like to be bothered to do much. They're clean, they don't need baths if they are short haired, most don't need a lot of attention, especially if let them be when they're/were young, the don't need walks. You just have to make sure they've always got water available and some food. They are pretty mellow, but not exactly fun to have around unless they are kittens and you like to watch them play with on another or a toy, but this way they will need more attention when they are older. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

Dogs have to be trained not to pee or poo inside, not that hard if you're willing to put some effort in, they don't need attention, but they do enjoy it, they need walks if you want them to be well behaved and not tear up the house while you're out. Dogs can be mellow to, but if you plan on being out awhile you should potty train them(dogs can actually learn to pee/poo in certain areas of the house(i've got mine going in a box of newspaper/old towels)).
