Hi i'm 18 years old i want to get 2 baby mice from the pet store (i cant get them from a breeder coz there is no breeders around where i live)
I want to keep them in my room i have lots of space for them, but i cant tell my mum or dad about them coz they dont like them, so my question is, is it safe for the mice to be left alone for days maybe up to 2 weeks with out having there water and food changed? Can i get a food tray and a large water bottole to last for up to 2 weeks?

2 weeks, nope, they will die, leaving your room smelling like shet and if you have a cardboard box, they can claw at it and get loose

No, it's not just the food and water issue either, if you're trying to keep them as pets they need to be socialized.

You cannot do that first if all the food would run out believe me these suckers can eat more than you think in a short period of time. Second of all the ammonia level in that cage can also build up creating an order you would like to forget.

This will not work. I am sorry but it would be unfair to them.
