Is my Desert Scorpion Molting?

I just bought a Desert Hairy Scorpion from the pet shop, it was in a tiny little container, I want to say its about 3-4 inches long.

I've had him for about a week, he was pretty active when I put him in his tank.

The pet shop said that a acrylic tank would do until it got bigger, so I bought a decent size one for like 10 bucks. My room gets pretty warm seeing how I have a lot of electrical equipment on all the time, and they said that 70 + temp is good. Seeing how he was in a small plastic container behind a glass door I figured it be fine too.

I filled it with sand from the shop as well, hes got a small water dish and a big rock to hide under.

I fed him once when I got him and put a cricket in there the other day and now the cricket is gone, so I am assuming he ate that too.

Now all he does is hide under the rock, I havent seen him come out in a day or 2, is that normal? Even at night I dont see him come out, and my baby emperor scorpion seems to come out more often at night then the desert scorpion. pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com

Anyways let me know, thanks.

I am not sure when the last time he molted, but I can always go back to the pet store to ask, I hope hes not dying seeing how I have only had him for a week: -/
If he recently ate, there's a very slim chance he's dying, also, if he's a Desert Hairy, he needs temperatures of about 85-90 Fahrenheit. Scorpions are Nocturnal predators, and you've also just purchased him, scorpions are usually nervous at first when introduced to their new enclosures, however yours may have been exploring when he was active, and now that he has a feel of his surroundings it may not find it necessary to move much, all of my scorpions have been like this after a while, since they're mainly ambush predators. It's natural, just raise the heat in the enclosure, that can make them a bit sluggish and withdrawn if it's too low.
I find this. http://y101.info/12690/acrylic-tank Gooooood luck (:
