what is the best veggie to give a rabbit?

Carrots are TREATS ONLY! They are packed with sugar and are NOT good a staple vege for rabbits! Mine only get them once a fortnight if that! Too much sugar results in an obese rabbit with rotten teeth and diabetes!

All veges are merely supplements in a bunny diet, it's diet should be at least 80% hay! Mine predominantly get spring greens, flat leaf parsley, basil, mint, broccoli (can be too gassy for some rabbits), cauliflower (leaves too) , rocket and green pepper. That's only their breakfast which they demolish in a few minutes!

With veges you have to be wary of high sugar ones, like carrots, and high calcium ones like kale or spinach. Too much calcium for an adult rabbit equals kidney problems!
Nothing but a carrot and only once in a while. Like kids to much candy and they won't want to eat anything else. I give grass with plant leaves and dandelion leaves. And papaya to keep their tummies running smooth. Domesticated rabbits can't handle everything a wild rabbit can as they can't run it out of their system. Gas is not a good thing for rabbits especially domesticated ones. Hope this helps. Good luck. As long as they get a good 16% feed and hay they are good.
Well .... .... yus carrots r very good for your bunny! but they should get a mixture of veggies like carrots and greens but stay away from pepers of course! and friuts are important also like apples but stay away from citrus friuts of rALL ANIMALS! and a nice mix of pellets and alfalfa or hay (which one u perfur!) good luck! Oh and im shure u already know this but dont feed bunny straw

Fruits and sugary veggies like carrots should be limited to twice a week. They should get lots of dark leafy greens every day.
Carrots! Bunnys love carrots! I used to have a rabbit but it had cancer so we had to put it down. But I bet he \ she will love carrots!
