Maybe and Most Sertanly she did die of old age!!! But dont worry Im sure she livd a happy and healthy life, Only owners like you can care for hamsters that long ,.... your an exspert rodent taker!!! My hamster (Jerzy) was 6 months when i got her and i only had her for 6 months so my hamster lived for only like 1 yr half of it was with me .......... Im very sorry for your loss!!!! Maybe you can consider getting: Ferret, Guinea pig, Rat, Mouse, or another hamster
When I was speaking to my vet a while ago when I had my hamster, he said the oldest hamster he'd ever seen was 3 1/2 years old. It's just old age, it's the best possible way to go and a really good age for a hamster.
4 years is, on average, the maximum age for a hamster. I'm sure you took very good care of her, it was just her time to go: (I'm so sorry about your loss. Just keep telling yourself that she's in a better place. I hope I could help!
yes and ur lucky she lived that long most hasmter are lucky to live past 2 years old so its normale she died when she did it was bound to happen the longest i saw or heard of a hamster liveing was 5 years but its unlikely .. sorry for ur lost
