When i say relatively easy, i don't mean goldfish standard. Just something that doesn't require my undivided attention.
I won't bore you with the reason for asking this so i'll Just say this: The tanks old occupant is now too big for it, and i would love to get a new animal for it. If you can just write down as many ideas as possible - mammal, reptile, exotic frog, African elephant ... I'd really appreciate it.
Make sure its more than one though - I already have quite a few animals.

Tarantula. Said to be handleable.

Both come in multiple colors/styles.
You could create a great crabitat if you are into hermit crabs: O)

Anoles would be great in a tank that size. You could actually put quite a few in there.
Mice would be good as well as they are really easy to care for.
Some type of exotic spider like a tarantula would be perfect for it.
