which one is a better pet to have a rabbit or a guinea pig, and wy? do guinea pigs bite? do rabbits bite? are guinea pigs aggressive? are rabbits aggressive? whats the difference between having a pet rabbit and having a pet guinea pig ? as far as how they act and how they need to be cared for and any other information about rabbits and guinea pigs.
Guinea Pigs .... I have three, cookie, biscuit and truffle ... none of them bite , the have attitude, they're adorably cute, funny and very child friendly .... guinea pigs are not at all aggressive. Guinea pigs, take up less room, do not need a large pen to excersise as they excersice enough simply by running around there cage. The only bad point about guinea pigs is that they would have to be at least 2 of them ... as they tend to get very lonely ... which is even more reason to love them: D
first, rabbits only eat their babies if they or the babies are sick, there isn't enough food, or they are under sever stress.
my experience, Rabbits are loving but willful, Guinea Pigs are not loving and are only interested in food and will turn on you and bite you even after you've bonded with them.
pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com I've owned both for a year, and several sets, so it's not just a one time experience.
HOWEVER, the bottom line depends on you. How responsible you are with them, how much you learn about them (Google them) and how attached you are to them, and make time to bond with them. It could turn out that you're more suited to a bird, cat, fish or dog. go to one of the adopt a pet days at Petsmart, you'll get a better idea.
i vote guinea pig! they are very easy to take care of and love being handled by humans. plus they can easily be litter box trained, and to do simple tricks. rabbits, on the other hand, are very adorable but they have quite the strong smell. plus they do not have very good bladder control which leads to poop and pee everywhere.
both animals have the capability of biting and being aggressive, but can easily be trained not to. sort of like a human, they can be mean and aggressive, but if taught not to at a young age, can be sweet and gentle.
A Guinea pig definitely!

When i was young my sisters had rabbits and I had a guinea pig, i found my sisters where much more interested in my Guinea pig after there rabbits had reached the adult stage, I think from personal experience they are much better to handle,, and more entertaining too.!
My Guinea pig well aged too he lived till he was 10!!
Hope that helps x
They Both bite I suppose Rabbits are more Aggressive than guinea pigs. Also Rabbits need more looking after you need to make a pen in your garden for your rabbit to get exercise.
A Guinea pig. Id say rabbits are a bit gross. They eat their children once their born
in my opinion, i would say rabbit would be easier to take care of. cuz under my house, i have a netherland dwarf rabbit and two guinea pigs. Even though i can't really tell you much about the guiena pigs, cuz actually it's my sister's pet, so shes the one who take cares of them. But, i own my rabbit, so i have lot of rabbits information for you.:) so my rabbit was litter trained, so when i tried to clean his cage, it would take so long to clean up everything. of course, it will be wasier to train them when they were young. However, the guinea pigs poop and pee everywhere , and we i putted the pine bedding, which made it more gross when you have to clean their cage.

Rabbits and Guiena pigs are both rodent animals, which they bites a lot. If they don't, you will have to always check their teeth and in some cages, they have to go to the vet to clip their teeth out. But of course , eating or chewing the hay and pellets would prevented the teeth growing too long.:)
Usully does (female rabbits) are usually more aggressive because they could give birth and everything. Also, beware of the bucks (male rabbits), because if the owner was a girl, and you put a lot of perfume on yourself when you get your bunny, they will also gets so aggressive on you as well. i think guinea pigs werent that aggressive as bunnies though.:) but i don't think you will have any problems if the rabbits are under control.
the difference between them:
- Rabbit grooms themselves, so dont worry about giving them a shower. Indeed, they will get stressed, if you give them a shower ...
- Guinea pigs may have shower. Which is optional. But i suggest you to give them a bath in the summer so they won't get cold.

- If you litter trained your rabbit, you can move the litter box anywhere and your rabbit will use it where ever you putted it.;)
- Guinea pigs potty everywhere ... and they eat a lot too ... (well. .. mine does ...)
- My sister's guinea pigs squeaks a lot when they wants food ...-__________-
Similar:
- Both animals required to get their hair brushed weekly. However, my sister didn't really brush the guinea pigs ... and they are still fine ... oo but i groom my rabbit every week, and i use a loop thing to get the dead hair out.
