What kind of horse is best for heavy riders?

Any full-grown, strong horse is fine for any rider. You don't have to get a special horse to suit a heavier rider. As long as the horse is larger and stronger and healthy (as you should keep ALL horses) than it will be fine to ride no matter how large you are! Don't ride too hard on any horse unless they are very fit and have been ridden every day for hours. Remember to walk a few laps around a pasture if you trot or anything like that. It is imperative that you cool down any horse after riding, especially if the horse worked really hard. A treat at the end wouldn't be bad either!;)

Best of luck and happy riding!
