What happens when guinea pigs eat plastic?

I have 2 guinea pigs. One is staying at the hospital tonight and the other, on the way home from the vet, chewed off the corner of the plastic bag. Will this hurt her? I don't want 2 sick piggies: (
She will be fine. One of my piggies chewed on plastic a while ago and it didn't hurt her. Just keep plenty of things for them to chew on like wooden blocks, timothy hay, empty paper towel rolls, etc, so they won't be as tempted to chew on things they shouldn't.
Your piggies will most likely be fine. Guinea pigs chew on just about everything (if you haven't noticed) and they have pretty strong stomachs. Your piggies will be fine but make sure you keep anything harmful out of their reach! Give them blocks of wood and hay to chew on so they don't have the urge to chew on everything they can!

Good luck with your pigs! They should be fine.:)
It will be fine, Its non-toxic, and they do not swallow anything without finely chewing everything before they ingest it ... It will come out with mixed irregular shaped Oval cOcO-Puffs ...!
just watch them they should be fine
Your piggies should be as long as it didn't choke and it wasn't too much that she ate!:)
It wont.
