she is due in 7 days i was wondering if there is any tips that would make it better for her she has been to the vet and to the people that think im a backyard breeder im actually keeping all the pups cause im gonna train them for dog sled races and thats gonna be my team
Usually when someone breeds a dog they are knowledgeable about what they are doing. Since you are starting the knowledge part a little late, I would spend some serious time talking to your mentor and your vet .
I also hope you have bred working dogs with proven bloodline, and that you really know what you are getting into. Again I would spend a great deal of time talking to your mentor, who I hope is a experienced musher. Preferably with a few races under their belt.
Good Luck
talk to your breed mentor
talk to your vet
read all the books on birthing you can get your hands on
start putting together an emergency kit
know what to look for and when to call for help
dont kick your dog!
