i have 6 baby bunnies to look after. i need some advice?

okay well the baby bunnies were born on the 8th of october. a couple of days ago the mother died. we don't know how she died. now i'm looking after the bunnies. what i would like to know is if the mother was still nursing them or not and if so do i still have to give them milk or will they be alright. right now they are eating grass carrots and rabbit food and they have fresh water. they seem to be doing alright without milk.

if you can help me, it would be great.
Hopefully, they will be ok without nursing-trying to give them a mother's milk substitute would be a worse solution than letting them go without. I would strongly suggest not feeding them ANY vegetables or grass. Baby rabbits are very susceptible to enteritis. This happens when the balance of good bacteria in their gut is disturbed, by feeding food they're not accustomed to, or sugary food like carrots. It causes serious inflammation of the digestive tract and can result in sudden death. Offer plain rabbit pellets and unlimited hay, cross your fingers and hope for the best.
