how do you convince your parents to buy you a horse?

  1. Do your research:

how much will it cost?

are there ways to prevent the smell?

where will it live?

how will you take care of it?

who's paying for it?

2. Print it all out or create a powerpoint along with a pet contract or a survey

the survey should ask if you can get one or not, and why if no. the choices should be yes, no and maybe. the contract will be how you'll take care of it and other promises you'll have

3. If they still say no, wait a day or two but keep researching

see what concerns they have and try to find solutions to their worries

4. Present more information-be creative!

make some books or calanders as to when you'll clean the cage, etc

5. If they still say no, wait a bit more

6. Just keep reminding them and maybe ask for one for a gift or when money or whatever is better

7. Get your parents to say yes! Good luck!

Also, be sure not to whine because theyll get annoyed.
Be mega nice to them (which is hard given your folks!) And then ask them when they're in a good mood. Also, offer to do more chores or get a job.
