I have been getting new itchy red bumps on my legs for a week now everyday. Whenever I sit on my chair in my bedroom, I can feel constant spots of tingling and crawling sensation all over my legs and sometimes above my waist. Feels like there are millions of bugs crawling up from the carpet. But I cannot see them whenever I look at my legs or look at the carpet. Any tips on how to get rid of this?
I tried vacuuming constantly and fogged my room three times with little help.
It certainly does sound like fleas. If you're certain that they're climbing onto you from the carpet, and aren't just hiding in your clothes, it's pretty much certain you have fleas. Lice or mites would be hiding either on your body or in your clothing when you're active, and come out when you're not. The thing is that lice tend only to bite in areas where there's hair to hide in, and mites stick in well hidden areas like ears. They wouldn't be on your legs, unless it's fleas.
The other possibility is that it's bedbugs, and just thinking about your legs is making you think there are fleas on them. Bedbugs can explain the incredibly itchy red bumps on your body, and it's not uncommon for people to mistake bedbug bites for something else. They're also experiencing a resurgence around the world thanks to lack of quarantine quality from a lot of third world countries, and a lack of proper control or hygiene from people who buy products imported from those places.

If it is fleas, you're going to need to treat yourself, plus the area where the fleas are living. That might just require a proper fumigation of the property, plus seeking a course of medical treatment from a doctor. Bedbugs will require pretty much the same treatment. I would suggest that you speak with a doctor, or at least properly identify what pests you have before seeking professional pest control. That way you don't waste your time and money. Hopefully for you it's just fleas, they 're a lot easier to get rid of than bedbugs, and a lot less itchy. Best of luck.
Sounds like fleas to me
