So, my guinea pig was pregnant, and just had 2 babies on Nov 2, i have another female pig. Can the mother and two of its babies stay with one more adult female guinea pig?
So long as they've gotten along before the pregnancy, they should be just fine with the babies. I've kept a lot of pregnant pigs together and the females have always been pretty good with one another. Sometimes you get the occasional grump of a female pig, but you ' d know that right away when the mother gives birth. If they look happy together, things will be just fine. If it looks like they're having a little squabbles, then you might consider separating them at least until the babies are able to look after themselves a little bit (in case the stress forces mum to neglect them).
If you do separate the females, try and do it in a way where they're still near enough to each other to smell, see, and otherwise interact. If you take them completely apart they may not live together happily again, and the stress of separation may harm the way the babies are being raised. Regards,
Usually a female yes, male no.
