Hamster or Turtle? I want both!?

I always wanted a aquatic turtle (like maybe a slider) but when I went to check them out at the pet store. I was leaning towards a Chinese Dwarf Hamster instead. Any comments or advice on which I should get?
Well hamsters are known for exscaping so if you are willing 2 posibly lookin hours for your hamster that could be dead thats cool. but they r very playfull ... when they are not trying to excape

Turtles are cool. And if they are in a good mood they are very fun to play with. And they live longer then a hamster.
How much money do you have?

turtles require alot of expensive equipment. at least a 40 gallon tank which usually runs for $ 100 alone. plus all the heating, lighting, filter, decorations. it will cost no less than $ 200 for the supplies plus the turtle. usually red ear sliders are not expensive at all.

turtles are great. but not very interactive. and live forever!

a hamster. you can spend $ 60 and be done.

you do usually have to train a hamster. they are not naturally tame. i've found that the robo dwarf hamster and the chinese dwarf hamster don't bite as ofter. but still need to be worked with.
Me personally. .. I would get a hamster, because they are mammals, and mammals tend to be more loving than fish, frogs, turtles, etc.

Pets like dogs, cats, hamsters, and rabbits tend to enjoy being with humans and love to be stroked.

hope i helped (:
i have personality had water turtles and a dwarf hamster. I love them both. I would get a hamster. turtles STINK VERY bad. even if you do clean the tank and the water and give them a bath they will still STINK.
Hamster ... much more playful and fun ..

Turtles can't really pet because big shell, not really energetic ... while a hamster you can have fun with pet it and everything!
Hamster.
