Im 14 and I am getting a pet bunny in spring-ish. Its gonna be a small baby light brown floppy eared female named Nutmeg! And I just learned yesterday you can't walk them like a puppy! Who knew??? So does anybody have some good advice or pointers about anything and everything about bunny care? Like what they like to eat, how often to be fed, playing with, bathing??? HELP!!

http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/nav.jsp? ac ... with carrot (put through cage bars as they find it more interesting) lettuce, broccoli and fresh water
Toys-dog rope, toilet roll tubes they love and a paper bag, little teddys
pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com Bathing-only if you have to (point out you finger and half that with water) let them dry by them selfs you can towel dry gently
i use a dog brush for the hairs
Cat litter tray they can use while out of cage/hutch to go to the toilet, fill mine with paper and hay on top, rabbits are goot at toilet training
keep wires away from rabbits as they will chew on them, wallpaper mine loves if you look at my photobucket account lol
To tell them off simply get a spray bottle of water and what ever they are chewing spray them till they stop, i know it sounds cruel but it works and i can leave my wires out without them chewing it
My baby don't have a cage he sleeps on my bed with me, at first he wet my bed i picked him up showed him what he done and said naughty and put him down off the bed, few times he done this now i trust him 100%
Pick them up one hand under front paws/chest and other supporting their bum

they might like it or not my baby don't mind as the others do
they bite/nip tell you to put them down
if they bite/nip you when you watching TV or minding your own business it means they love you or your in their way
I am 12 years old and i know quite a lot about looking after a rabbit/bunny. because iv got one called toby. I let him out in our living room everyday but if there is ever a day when you cant let her out make sure you at least pick her up so that you get used to her because it you don't get the trust of your bunny at a young age it will be harder for her to get trust when she's older you can do this by finding out what her fav food or toy is then lying on the floor and putting it on your leg, arm or body. until she comes and gets it (it works best with food egLettiee). Iusuallyy give mine food daily because its normally all gone within a day lol. I would suggest if you find she is quite energeticic when you her her it would be best if you get a cage that has a run at the boteven thoughough you let her out everyday they still like to run around when your at school or when you start work excetra. You don't ever really have to bath your rabbit because they do it themself like dogs its actually quite cute when they bath themself.
pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com mine loves to elettuceice, cabbage, carrots and anything fruit and veg but i think the smell of cucumber puts them off. but his fav lettuceice.
I hope this helps: D
okay well you can give them a bath but you have to have a towel down so they don't slip, and the water has to be warm. You can feed them breakfast, lunch and tea, but i feed mine in the morning and than after school i go and check on them and if there is no food i give them some and top up there water. you can't really play with them that muck but you can put a stick and pine cone in their cage so they can chew and play with them. they like carrots, apples, celery, snow peas, rabbit food etc .. they love attention and if they don't get it they might give you a nip because they want attention.

I only have one tip to give you:
when you hold a bunny, make sure that you hold it close to your chest to make it feel protected. They get frightened very easily.
