I have a 7 week old rabbit. She was taken from her mother at 3 weeks and sold in a store that abuses their animals. She was fed old guinea pig food at the store and was too weak to even hold her head up when i got her. We got her weight back up with a special diet designed for these rabbits (i've rehabilitated rabbits from this store before). Now she has malloclusion of her molars and an ulcer in her eye from being beaten before she came to us. Her eye is healing nicely but her teeth are going to take some work. We won't be able to do anything drastic until she's a bit older (the vets never saw a rabbit so tiny before) and right now she stopped eating.
I've force fed rabbits before and have always used the same formula, 1 cup of rabbit pellets, 2 cups of grape gatorade, 1-2 cups of water. It works pretty well, but most of the food is chunked at the bottom of the container and I don't know if this will work for the amount of time she may be on it (i've only ever force fed rabbits for a few days at a time until they ate on their own again) Will this get all the nurishment she needs or is there a better food to give her? I was told baby food might work but is it good for rabbits?
It will be fine for temporary until she starts eating again. Pellets do have all the nutrients that rabbits need its just not the best diet. Baby food is fine to feed to rabbits. She may like it too. You can also get critter care.
Hi
pets question and answers,www.5d2d.com I am not sure about the baby food, it doesn't sound strong enough if you know what i mean?! If you haven't been to the vet and asked for advise, please do, because people do give stupid answers on yahoo answers when they haven't a clue what they are talking about.
Good luck

It will be far better to use something specifically made for this exact situation. I can recommend two different products: Oxbow Critical Care (which you can ask your vet to order in as it is prescription-only), or American Pet Diner Critter Be Better (which can be purchased direct from the company, or ordered from the vet):

You need to report the store where you bought the rabbit. Even if you are not working at the store you might as well be, seeing animal cruelty and not reporting it is just as bad as being the one abusing animals.
