where should i keep my rabbit in the winter?

this is my rabbits first winter. the tempertures here can go below 0 so i want to make sure hes ok .. i have a playhouse that he could stay in but my mum wont let me cause he'll ruin it and make it smell. any tips for keeping him cosy? thanks;)
Well if he stays outside, maybe you could buy or build him a warmer house. I'm sure he'll adapt. But it'd probably be better to keep him inside and get him a bunny cage. If your mom detests, you could convince her that you'll make sure to keep everything clean. It's only temporary for you and your mom so it won't be too bad.
You want to bring in your rabbit in when the weather gets below 45 degrees. Put it in the barn or the garage for the winter that way the rabbit will not get to hot or to cold be shore to give it plenty of food and hay because rabbits tend to eat more during the colder months. Be shore to maintain a comfortable temp for the rabbit so it will not over heat or get to cold. this is what I do to keep my rabbits worm for the winter.
He will be completely fine outside in his hutch. Just make sure he has lots of straw, maybe a little extra food than normal to increase body fat to keep him warmer and cover the hutch over with a blanket to protect him from the wind. British weather rarely ever gets cold enough that a bunny can't cope.
Rabbits normally tolerate cold pretty well, but generally it''s not a good idea to keep them outside anyway (with bugs and predators etc). Rabbit.org can help you adjust to an house bunny if you'd like.
Put it in the garage.
